my favourite hobbies are reading and i was young, i was not fond of them . for a little child , reading and writing were boring but my teacher encouraged me to try to write down my feelings after reading something. so i had a the beginning, there were only a few sentences on my notebook ,but i used to read them to my parents or classmates.
it gave me enormous satisfaction and pleasure to be able to touch the lives of others with words because their respoonse gave me hope -selfesteen and pride inmy abilities. reading and writing have helped me to give my life meaning. now i am a high school student, i donot have much time to read and write. but words are at the very heart of my hobbies, and i am very happy that i can write in English. in the future, reading and writing will be a funny way of my life.

The ancient Egyptians played games with balls made of wood or pottery. People today have more time than ever before for hobbies. Machines have reduced the amount of time they must spend on their jobs. Those who have developed hobbies never need to worry about what to do with their newly-found leisure hours.

I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is joyful. When I'm happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when I'm upset.
I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long day's work, we need a rest very much. Perhaps soft music is the best recreation for us. My favorite pop stars are JJ and Jay Chou. They always make a wonderful performance on the stage. Their songs are so charming.
